Poetry/Song
where it’s winter in the summer
verse 1:
coffee in the morning
sunlight rays and telling stories
oh the good old days
evenings getting bitter
i don’t like wine
i like liquor
but she drank it
like it’s water
anyway
chorus:
where it’s winter in the summer
snowstorms gather in the clouds
oh how much they wish to
laugh and dance around the sun
but winter’s happy and she’s smiling still
my soul is wrapped around it feels
so warm and cozy, oh, like so much fun
where it’s winter in the summer
verse 2:
the dance has left a shimmer
gliding
coffee in the morning
sunlight rays and telling stories
oh the good old days
evenings getting bitter
i don’t like wine
i like liquor
but she drank it
like it’s water
anyway
chorus:
where it’s winter in the summer
snowstorms gather in the clouds
oh how much they wish to
laugh and dance around the sun
but winter’s happy and she’s smiling still
my soul is wrapped around it feels
so warm and cozy, oh, like so much fun
where it’s winter in the summer
verse 2:
the dance has left a shimmer
gliding
